This year I was asked to add a non-pumpkin dessert to the Thanksgiving meal. Since most everyone else enjoys pumpkin pie I figured the kids and I would be the only ones eating this dessert, so I made something I knew we'd enjoy. I've always been a fruit pizza fan, but wanted to give this one a special turkey twist. The kids thought it was so exciting to see it come together and really look like a turkey.
1 package refrigerated cookie dough (I usually use chocolate chip, but this one is made with sugar cookie dough)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
Press cookie dough along the bottom of a 12 inch pizza pan. Bake at 350 for 10-14 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Beat cream cheese and sugar in a medium bowl until smooth. Spread over the crust. Cover and refrigerate until you are almost ready to serve. Before serving add cut fruit.
