Ghosts of Halloween Past

I was excited to see today's challenge on SevEn cLoWn CirCuS to dig up and post a picture of the Ghosts of Halloween Past. I had just such a thing!

Kevin's mom just gave us this jewel of a picture to laugh and reminisce over. The kids think it is hysterical to see daddy dressed up for Halloween and hauling around his pumpkin basket. Kevin has explained to us that he was dressed as a "Civil War Ghost." Since I have known him, Kevin has been a big history buff. Now I know that his interest started long before we met.

He is accompanied in this fun fall picture by his older sister and three cousins. I'm sure they'll all be thrilled to see this oldie, but goodie resurface!

  5. That is definitely a gem! I think you can tell from the costumes that Aunt Ruth sewed, while my mom did not. :) (Though in her defense, I believe she made the clown costume Joel is wearing - it was worn by most of the Meyerings!)

  6. Thank you, Amy. Yes, I sewed the clown costume for you when you were three years old and in nursery school. I believe it was the LAST costume I sewed as well! :)

  7. Oh my goodness, look at us! I will have to make sure Sarah, Joel and my parents check this out. How fun to see that photo again, Katie.

By the way, that scarecrow costume I was sporting won 1st place at our school's Octoberfest, complete with real straw!
