Sweet Heidi tagged me to play along with a little Prom season flashback! I think she was trying to get back at me for the "Keepin' It Real" tag (smiles)!

Katie & "K.K." - Senior Prom
(Notice the names - suppose that relationship was doomed on account of our initials, if nothing else). We were all decked out for an evening at the Charlevoix Club.
I have a whole slew of other high school dance pictures that look similar to this one. The only thing that changed in 4 years of pictures was my dress color. This specific formal was especially fun as we celebrated many highschool friendships before our big graduation day! It was also a bit more relaxed than the other dances I attended, because it was one of the only ones I wasn't responsible for planning.
My handsome husband Kevin...not the K in the picture...doesn't have a high school dance picture. I guess I won't be able to embarrass him by posting it here with mine! But, if you want to see him looking smashing in a tux you are welcome to take a look!

I LOVE looking at Prom pictures. It is amazing how the styles change. I am sure you can find something embarrassing of your husband - there is always pictures hiding somewhere!

I had 3 proms but 2 dates...the first and second were with the same guy and the third was with a friend who didn't even dance with me when we got there!

ReplyDeleteI guess 1996? I am not married to my prom date, but I will have to dig out some pictures and post them as soon as I get a new scanner/printer! It's a great picture, I love your smile.
