Soup-er Saturday

Thanks for the fun start to Soup-er Saturday last week. I am excited to try each of the recipes that was linked to the post. In fact, this week we had Katie's Tortilla Soup. Yum!

In just a few minutes I have a group of friends coming over to scrapbook. We are going to make a day of it. I wanted to make something warm & yummy for brunch. So, I've decided on heart shaped muffins and Hot Fruit Soup. Although, this is not a traditional soup recipe, I have decided to share it this Soup-er Saturday.

Hot Fruit Soup

15 oz. can pears
15 oz. can peaches
11 oz. can mandarin oranges
13 oz. can apricots
26 oz. can cherry pie filling
1 small can of pineapple chunks
1 jar applesauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cinnamon candy hearts (optional for flavor & color boost)

Drain Fruit, Mix Ingredients, and Heat
(I put mine in the crock pot so it stays warm with little effort on my part)

I would love to see what soup recipes you have tried this week.
