Thanks to Kate B. for getting us started on this activity.
1. Glue 4 popsicle sticks together into a square
Decorate the frames with foam hearts and words
2. Add extra embellishments and glitter
3. Cheese! A finished frame.
We made a special Valentine sign and the kids took a picture with it.
4. After developing the picture we glued one to the back of each frame.
This week, as part of our family resolution to make this year a "year of giving," we are going to be deliving our Happy Heart Day frames to ladies and gentlemen in a nursing home.

Wonderful idea and so doable! Thank you for sharing it! I am going to do it this weekend. If it goes well, I will take pics, add to my blog and link back to you.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to tell you that I love the name of your blog. I am such a list maker myself. LOL
That is a very fun and simple idea. You must have eaten a LOT of popcicles! :)
ReplyDeleteCute! And I know the people at the nursing home will be so excited!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun idea, I like using the popsicle sticks. We made a frame with foamies too, but put them in cheapo frames I got at Ikea. Holding the sign in the picture came out really cute too, tried that this year but all she wanted to do was jump up and down holding it. Hmmm...maybe my kid is hyperactive...
